Who we are. Win on a Ryder (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website winonaryder.org (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use the Site, and describes your rights and choices. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Site.

1) Scope

What this Policy covers. This Policy applies to personal information we collect online through the Site and related services (newsletters, contact forms). It does not cover information we collect offline or on third-party sites and services that link to or from the Site.

U.S. focus. This Policy is written for U.S. users, with state-specific disclosures for California and other states with privacy laws. If you are outside the U.S., note that your information will be processed in the United States.

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details (name, email, phone).

  • Account/profile data (if accounts are enabled).

  • Content you submit (messages, comments, reviews).

  • Preferences (newsletter opt-ins, marketing choices).

  • Payment-related details only if we ever sell products/services; in such cases, payments are processed by third-party processors and we do not store full payment card numbers.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, OS, device identifiers).

  • Site activity (pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, clicks, scrolls).

  • Approximate location (derived from IP address).

What we use. We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tools to:

  • keep you signed in (if accounts are available),

  • understand how the Site is used, and

  • deliver/measure marketing.

Your choices.

  • Browser controls: you can block or delete cookies via your browser settings (functionality may be affected).

  • Do-Not-Track: the Site currently does not respond to DNT signals; we honor applicable state opt-out mechanisms (see below).

  • Interest-based advertising: you can opt out at the platform level via tools from the DAA (aboutads.info/choices) and NAI (optout.networkadvertising.org).

If we provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” / “Your Privacy Choices” link, it will appear in the Site footer and act as an opt-out mechanism for state law purposes.

6) Retention

How long we keep data. We retain personal information only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information.

7) Security

How we protect data. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Children’s Privacy

No users under 13. The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

9) Your Privacy Rights & Choices

Email marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in those emails or by contacting us.

Access, correction, deletion. Depending on your state, you may request to:

  • access/know the personal information we hold about you,

  • correct inaccuracies,

  • delete your personal information,

  • receive a portable copy,

  • opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising,

  • limit use/disclosure of sensitive information (we do not intentionally collect SPI),

  • appeal our decision on a request.

How to submit a request. Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity (e.g., verify control of your email, ask for limited additional information). Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization and identity verification.

Response time. We aim to respond within 45 days (and may extend as allowed by law).

10) State Privacy Rights & Disclosures

California (CCPA/CPRA).

  • Categories collected: identifiers; customer records; internet/network activity; approximate geolocation; inferences. Sources, purposes, and disclosures are described above.

  • Sale/Share: We do not sell personal information for money. We may share identifiers and internet/network activity with advertising/analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out (see Your Privacy Choices or email us).

  • Sensitive personal information: Not intentionally collected or used to infer characteristics.

  • Retention: See Retention above.

  • Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Other states (e.g., CO, CT, VA, UT, etc.). We honor applicable rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, and opt out of targeted advertising/profiling/sale as defined by those laws.

11) International Users

Transfers to the U.S. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.

12) Third-Party Links & Features

External sites. The Site may link to third-party websites, services, or plug-ins (e.g., social media, analytics, advertising). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies for details.

13) User-Generated Content

Public areas. Information you post in comments or other public areas may be read, collected, and used by others. Do not post personal or sensitive information that you would not want publicly available.

14) Changes to This Policy

We’ll update when needed. We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be effective when posted on the Site with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
